Position: Technical SEO WordPress Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Audit existing WordPress websites for SEO inefficiencies and technical issues that impact search rankings.

• Implement on-page SEO strategies including meta tags, headers, and structured data to enhance organic search visibility and site indexing.

• Develop and integrate advanced SEO tools and plugins tailored to WordPress.

• Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are met within all digital content.

• Monitor, track, and report on organic search metrics, including search traffic, rankings, and other key performance indicators.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

• Conduct keyword research and analysis to inform content strategies and website enhancements.

• Optimize website architecture, internal link structure, and overall page constructions for maximum SEO performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance, mobile optimization, and crawl errors.

• Work closely with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

• Proven experience as a WordPress developer with specific expertise in SEO.

• Strong understanding of current SEO practices, tools, and platforms.

• Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and PHP specific to WordPress environments.

• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, and other SEO monitoring tools.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
